Excellent product and just what I needed. I started road riding about a year ago and was always getting sweat dripping down my glasses, onto my cycle computer (inadvertently setting off the touch screen) and all over my frame antibiotic azithromycin. I happened to meet Dean at the Mt Cootha burn event this year and I thought I would give one a try. Let’s just say that I liked it so much that I have since bought another two! The awesome thing is that they also keep your head and ears warm on a cold winters morning. Just as a side note, I forgot to wear my Phairo a few weeks ago (in winter on a night ride) and soon enough the sweat was back dripping everywhere. Bottom line is, it works and makes your ride so much more comfortable.
This blue Phairo in the race style is my first of three Phairos I own. This product has been such a benefit to my cycling that I can’t ride without one. It absolutely does exactly what is claimed. No longer am I frequently distracted while riding by sweat in my eyes, yes, even in the winter! I sweat profusely with activity and my Phairos are my saviour! Thank you Phairo!
Cheers!
Well made, look good, but most importantly, they work. Managed to get to the top of Mt Mee, on a warm day, without sweat dribbling in my eyes. Well done.
Fantastic, first ‘head item’ I found that stops fellow cyclists behind me complaining that sweat drops ‘rain down’ on them
I’m a real head sweater and this thing has really solved my problem. No more sweat rolling down the inside of my cycling glasses. No more sweat staining my jersey or dripping over my garmin when I’m looking down to see how far there is to ride. No more tight headbands pulling my eyes across my forehead. And at the end of the ride when I’m in the cafe with my helmet off I look kinda cool with the Phairo still on.
